The Upper Saucon Volunteer Fire Department #1 opened their doors to the public

on October 9th, 2005. The equipment was displayed and some tools demonstrated, 

baked goods were available for sale, there were activities for the children, and

educational activities concerning smoke detectors, evacuation, and safety.
