Our Mission Statement:

     

    The mission of the Upper Saucon Volunteer Fire Department

     is to provide a quick, safe, and effective response to emergencies in

    Upper Saucon Township and surrounding communities with highly

    trained personnel.

    The Upper Saucon Volunteer Fire Department currently has 40

    firefighters and fire police officers. Our township covers approximately

    25 square miles with over 14,000 residents.

    Most of our members are cross-trained in many areas such  as:

    PA Department of Health Basic Vehicle Rescue

    Pennsylvania Fire Fighter certification levels 1, 2 or 3

    Fire Officer and Fire Instructor

    Basic and Advanced Fire Police

    Special Vehicle Rescue

    High Angle Rescue

    Confined Space & Trench Rescue

    Emergency Responder First Aid & CPR/AED training

    Hazardous Materials Operations and Technician level training

    A number of our firefighters are also:
